Sebastian completed his PhD at the University of Haifa.\u00a0Between 2013-2015 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Schusterman Center\u00a0for Jewish Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. During his postdoctoral fellow he wrote his book \u201cBetween Exile and Exodus: Argentinian Jewish Immigration to Israel, 1948-1967\u201d edited and published by Wayne State University Press in Detroit. Today, he is lecturer at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Haifa University.
